One of my favorite events of the summer is the Annual Sabor del Valle Event and what makes it even more special is that the event raises funds to support local nonprofits making a difference in our community. This year charities included Jose Valdez Math Institute, Teen Challenge International, Alum Rock Women’s and Children’s Center, East Valley Family, YMCA, Rotocare San Jose, and the School of Arts and Culture – Mexican Heritage Plaza.
You can always count on having a wonderful summer evening at the Annual Sabor del Valle Event. Here are some highlights from this year’s event.
Sipping wine from local vintners
Photo with Mexican-American winemaker from Napa Valley, Gustavo Brambila. He was portrayed in the movie Bottle Shock.
Sampling fine cuisine
Music and dancing under the stars
Unique artisan vendors, live and silent auction items.
This year I was the lucky silent auction winner of these beautiful pieces from local artist John Juerta!!
Catching up with friends and making new ones too
