Modern Latina is now accepting nominations for the “Madre Award.” Mothers are the heart of the family and our community. Modern Latina will recognize a mother who has nurtured their family and improved others’ lives in our community while juggling everything that comes along with being a mom. Please take a moment to nominate a mother today and pass the information to anyone you know who may be interested.
The nomination window has been extended until October 23, 2020. Modern Latina’s Madre Award Honoree will be notified via email by 11/1/20. Please email nominations to editor@modernlatina.com.
NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS
- The nominee must provide and submit at least a 500- word biography and photo.
- Statement of why the nominee should be considered for the Madre Award.
- Winner will permit Modern Latina to use biography and photo(s) for distribution via the ModernLatina.com, social media channels, magazine, and video. The winner may be asked to provide additional images to supplement the featured article in Modern Latina’s 15th Anniversary Commemorative Digital Edition and any other content created for Modern Latina. The winner will be asked to sign a photo release.
- The nominee must be of Latino descent.
