Many people use honey as a condiment for breakfast and tea. However,honey has a distinctive carbohydrate composition of natural sugars and trace amounts of antioxidants, enzymes, minerals, vitamins and amino acids that make it the perfect energizer. No matter what activities you partake in, carbohydrates are what fuel muscle contractions to help keep you going.

Pomegranate Apple with Honey Shot

Ingredients:

1 tsp honey

2 oz pomegranate juice

Splash of apple juice

Preparation:

Blend or mix all ingredients by hand

Pour into a shot glass or small cup for a quick energy boost
