With the spring season just around the corner, there are some hot new makeup trends to get you ready!  To stay on top of the trends, I’ve listed eye, lip and cheek ideas that will make you blossom this spring season, whatever your style is!

Bright or Warm?:

Which tone are you? For the spring you can be anyone of them with your lip colors. This season there are a couple lip trends to help you complete your look.

Coral: Make your lips the center of attention with a pop of color. Spring’s hottest trend is a bright coral lipstick. Coral brings light and attention to your face while also creating a vibrant but fresh look.

Nude: Perhaps you have noticed that nude lips seem to be all the rage on runways and red carpets lately. This flesh-colored lip trend is a perfect way to pair with a dramatic eye or to just appear like your normal self.

The choice of lipstick finish is up to you! Matte is great for all day wear, without having to re apply much. A glossy finish helps create an intense wet look while also keeping your lips moisturized and refreshed.

Creative Lines:

A trend for spring 2012 is applying bold and creative eyeliner designs.  The bold dramatic eye is designed to capture a viewer’s attention and hold it.  Define your eye line to perfection with liquid eyeliner for an all-out dramatic look. A hot design is the cat eye which can be obtained with an upward flick on the end of the eye lid and bringing the other end of the line back onto the crease.  You want the end of your line to be thick and bold with a point at the tip.  This creates a cat like and modern look.  Then top off the look with an eye shadow.  A neutral shadow will create a beautiful look for the work day, and heavier shadows are perfect for an evening out on the town.  Lastly, finish it off with a brush of black mascara on your lashes.

Dewy, Sun-kissed Cheeks:

What are the hot trends sweeping across cheeks this spring?  Dewy, sun-kissed, natural colored bronzers are blossoming on many faces. The goal of this trend is to make it look like you’ve been out soaking up the sun.  To contour the high parts of your cheeks peach, coral, and pink bronzers are helping your skin have a natural dewy glow like none other.  More of a blush girl?  The hottest blush colors for spring 2012 will be super-bright.  If you are comfortable with a pop of color on the cheek choose such shades as neon pinks.
