Recipe: Turkey Burger on Egg White Buns

Tonight’s dinner is light, carb free and super yummyl!! Check out the healthy and easy recipe for turkey burgers on egg white buns.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Garlic
  • Pepper flakes
  • Oregano
  • Sesame seeds
  • Greek yogurt
  • Sriracha sauce
  • Garlic salt
  • Garnish (optional): Egg over easy, tomatoes, avocado, spinach and jalapeños

  1. For the patties: Mix lean ground turkey with pepper, garlic, salt, pepper flakes, oregano and sesame seeds for a bit of texture. Cook for 5 minutes on each side.
  2. Greek yogurt spread: Mix yogurt with Sriracha sauce, garlic salt and a pinch of pepper.
  3. Egg white bun: Egg whites w peeper and salt and sesame seeds. Cook for about two minutes on each side. I cooked a big pancake-like round and then cut small round w a cookie cutter.
  4. Dress the burger: Spread the yogurt mixture on the egg white buns and dress the burger to your preference. Dressing suggestions include tomatoes, avocado, spinach, jalapeños or an over easy egg.
