Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, aunts and caregivers. Thank you for all the sacrifices you make and unconditional love you give to your children everyday.

When my first daughter was born, everyone would tell me to enjoy every moment because time flies so fast when you have children. I truly related to this when my eldest turned four and it feels just like yesterday when I was rocking her to sleep.

Soon my youngest will be turning one and it is hard to believe how quickly the first year went by. I think the years go even faster once you have two or more kids. For both my girls, I try to cherish every moment together and show them my love in a so many ways. From squeezing them tight to playing peek-a-boo with my baby. Every moment is a chance to show them love and help with their healthy development.

I like to try to make everyday moments special and include my daughters in everyday activities from grocery shopping, cleaning, running errands and more. I want to make sure everyday has a little cariñitos, abrazos, y risitas. Some of the ways that I bond with my baby girls include bedtime routines from nightly bath, bedtime story and prayer. I also like to just be silly with my baby girls – taking goofy selfies.

My baby has recently started to say “Mom” and hearing those words makes my heart melt. Also, when she sees me come in the room her little face lights up. I love picking up my toddler from pre-school as she is so excited to share everything that happened in her day. And the best is to wake up in the morning greeted by a happy and smiley baby who can’t wait to be picked up by mommy!

The best thing about being a mom is sharing my life with my girls and seeing things for the first time again through their eyes. My daughters are a constant reminder of all the beautiful things there are in the world and help me to never forget my inner child!

The first three years of a baby’s life is so important for their development. JOHNSON’S®. Here are a few benefits of touch and smell for your growing baby.
