Summer is officially here!! One of my favorite parts about summer is getting together with family and friends. Whether it is lounging by the pool, hitting the beach or having a fun backyard BBQ eating yummy food and sipping on refreshing cool drinks makes the perfect day for me.

Refresh the Way You Flavor Your Day

I picked up Minute Maid® 12-pack of Lemonade and Fruit Punch flavors at my local Walmart to keep my guests cool. FUZE® Tea (available in select markets) and Fanta® Orange are also great drinks to have on hand for all the summer festivities.

Nothing brings together our family more than a great game of Lotería. It is one of our favorite games to play and has become a family tradition. I remember playing Lotería with my grandmother and it makes me so happy to play this fun game of chance with my little ones now.

I love Lotería so much that I wanted to find a way to incorporate it in my everyday entertaining. That’s when I had the idea to create Lotería tile coasters that I can bring out for any occasion.

  3. Brush a thin layer of Mod Podge on the back of the Lotería card.
  4. Place the Lotería card on the tile and press gently to ensure all air bubbles are out.
  5. Let dry and then apply another thin layer of Mod Podge. Let dry for a few minutes and apply another layer of Mod Podge.
  6. Once the tile is completely dry spray with the clear sealer and let dry for 24 hours.
  7. Cut the felt in 4×4 size and use Tacky Glue to attach to bottom of tile to prevent scratching.

The coasters are a great conversation piece and also make a unique homemade gift for a housewarming party too. Or even as a prize for the big winner of the Lotería games.
