The Dora the Explore pilot first aired twenty years ago on June 12, 1999. The series centered around Dora, a seven-year-old Latina girl, who along with her cute monkey Boots and talking purple backpack go on travels where young viewers join the show by solving puzzles and riddles while learning the Spanish language, colors, counting and more.
Many generations have grown up watching Dora and her adventures and now August 9, Dora will hit the big screen in the movie “Dora and the Lost City of Gold.” The movie centers around Dora, this time as a teenage explorer who leads her friends on an adventure to save her parents and solve the mystery behind a lost city of gold.
I am a huge fan of Eugenio Derbez and Eva Longoria so I can’t wait to see them in this live-action movie.
