Manos Accelerator Accepting Applications for Spring 2015 Session

manosacceleratorManos Accelerator, a startup accelerator program with the vision to be recognized as an international hub in Silicon Valley where Latino entrepreneurs from across the globe can come to convert their big ideas into reality, has officially announced it will begin accepting applications from early-stage startups for its Spring 2015 Batch beginning April 6th. The accelerator program consists of an intense 3-month program in which the selected startups are coached in all aspects of creating a sustainable and successful business.

Manos Accelerator encourages entrepreneurs with emerging products and technologies to apply for the Spring Batch. The program is open to startups from across the US and Latin America countries whose founders are ready to immerse themselves in a mentorship program designed to produce the next generation of leading product companies focused on developing software and mobile solutions across industry verticals such as education, enterprise, healthcare, media and entertainment.

Since Manos Accelerator was launched in 2013, the program has accepted two classes of startups to participate in an unique 3-month “bootcamp-type” program. The program offers intensive coaching and mentorship; provides a collaborative workspace; and provides access to exclusive opportunities to engage with leading entrepreneurs, business executives, service providers and investors. Each batch culminates with a Demo Day, which gives an opportunity for each startup to pitch to a room full of investors and influencers in Silicon Valley.

Manos Accelerator is looking for startup teams that:

  • Are building a disruptive software and mobile solutions
  • Have the will and endurance to convert their big ideas into success
  • Need help with startup capital, introductions, and navigating pitfalls
  • Are seeking rapid growth through seed and venture capital
  • Are willing to be in Silicon Valley for the entire 3-month program and commit to the venture full time
  • Are ideally comprised of 2-4 team members with at least one of the founders is of Hispanic-Latino origin/descent
