Modern Latina™, the Bay Area’s hottest digital magazine for Latina women, is excited to announce its 15th Anniversary festivities featuring a series of virtual events to celebrate the amazing, powerful, and unstoppable Latinas of our community. The theme for this year’s festivities is “Celebrating our stories, cultura and community.”

Over the last 15 years, Modern Latina has brought together Latinas by providing a medium to engage in multi-generational conversations, share success and leadership stories, and curate content about issues transforming the Latino community.

“Modern Latina is a conduit to help the community by creating meaningful opportunities for Latinas to advance, connect, give back, and live their best life,” said founder Linda Castillo. “This year we are excited to honor Latinas who are making a difference in our community and serve as inspirational role models to others.”

Modern Latina recognizes that mothers are the heart of the family and our community, and as part of its Quince celebration will be honoring a mother who has made their family a priority and demonstrated exemplary service to their community with the “Madre Award.” The deadline for nominations is October 16, 2020. If you know of a mother that exemplifies this award, go to Modern Latina for details to complete a nomination.
