I don’t think anyone can ever prepare you for the first few weeks of motherhood. As a first time mom, I had certain expectations as to what it would be like having my daughter in my life. I envisioned myself as an organized mommy who had time for herself, husband, two feisty Boston Terriers, small business, household chores, blogging and of course the new addition to the family, my adorable baby girl. But then reality set in and I discovered that taking care of a new born is a 24-7 job that left me completely exhausted. Consequently, I adapted to the new responsibility of motherhood by finding ways to simplify my life.
Now that I am packing for myself and an 8-week old baby girl, I am quickly learning that leaving the house can take up to one hour. In addition to getting myself ready, I now have to feed and dress my baby girl, as well as pack a diaper bag with bottles, milk, spit cloth, diapers, wipes, pacifier, change of clothes, and much more. And it never fails that once I am finally ready to leave the house, my little one will either wet her diaper or be hungry again!
While I might not be able to eliminate any steps in the process to leave the house, I wanted to find a way to make it easier when I was out and about with my daughter. The idea of purchasing a travel system that included a stroller and a car seat seemed like a good solution to simplify my life on the go with the baby. I was so delighted to receive a travel system as a present at my baby shower until I saw my husband struggling to put the box in the car. I thought to myself if my husband can’t pick up the travel system, how will I manage to lug this bulky, heavy stroller in and out of the car. For that reason, I decided to purchase an infant car seat with a separate stroller, specifically the Baby Trend Single Snap N’ Go Stroller
I am so happy with my Baby Trend Snap N Go Infant Car Seat Carrier Stroller. I love the fact that it is light weight, easy to fold and fits easily in the trunk of my car with room to spare. Similar to the travel system strollers, the Snap N Go Stroller has additional convenient features such as two cup holders, a handy storage unit, and storage basket. I also like the fact that the Baby Trend stroller is small making it easy to store. I have used the Snap N Go stroller many times and I find it very easy to maneuver. Additionally, the Snap N Go stroller is compatible with many car seats including Baby Trend, Graco, Evenflo, Britax, Peg Perego, Chicco, and Combi. This is the perfect stroller for any mommy-on-the-go and I would recommend that any new mom add it to their baby registry.
