Modern Latina’s first Mommy & Me event features local Latina co-author and illustrator Claudia Sloan. She will be reading her wonderful new bilingual book Ginger Dog or Ginger Bear?: ¿La Perrita Ginger o La Osa Ginger?. This whimsical children’s book tells the tale about a little dog who wants to become a big bear and soon discovers that there’s nothing wrong with being herself.
