Take Charge: A Lean In Latinas Conference

Share

Lean In Latinas, a worldwide movement, is bringing together Latinas to network and take part in an all-day conference with engaging speakers and interactive sessions.

Our network platform will power the conversation on leadership, led by the voices of remarkable Latina trailblazers.

It is our time to Take Charge.

Together, we’ll enjoy a moving keynote from an award-winning filmmaker, and partake in compelling panel discussions. Above all, you’ll have a seat at the table. You’ll get the opportunity to shape the conversation with your voice.

Meet the Speakers & Panelists

Join the conversation among Latinas who drive change. Each one of the panelists, speakers, and leaders has a story to share and the bravery to tell you about that time they decided to take charge.

Denise Soler, Project Enye

This year the keynote speaker is Denise Soler Cox of Project Eñye! She is a Latina filmmaker and cultural storyteller. An award-winning indie filmmaker, author, and entrepreneur, Denise is a sought-after speaker in academic, business and community circles. Drawing upon her own experiences growing up bi-cultural in America, she skillfully weaves life lessons into her presentations, creating a safe and open environment to have real, authentic conversations about topics like identity, culture, bullying, self-advocacy, healing, and leadership. Her work with Project Eñye has been featured by Forbes.com, CNN, NBC Latino, Telemundo, Univision, Fox News Latino and more!

“Twenty years ago at a bar in Miami, I had an idea to make a film about American born Latinos that felt “ni de aqui, ni de alla.” I wanted to make a film that would address the cultural nuances between two worlds and in the process make them feel less alone, more empowered and in the process give them a place to belong.”
