Call for Latina Poets for Modern Latina’s Quinceañera Celebration
Our written word expression is so beautiful, and we are looking for some talented Latina poets to be featured as part of Modern Latina’s Quinceañera celebration. Selected poets will be featured in a video recorded included in Modern Latina’s Quince celebration. Additionally, your original work will be showcased in Modern Latina’s 15th Anniversary Commemorative Digital Edition. Must be 18 years old and the submission deadline is November 7, 2020.

Conversation and Virtual Wine Tasting with Amelia Ceja, Founder and President of Ceja Vineyards
It was the best way to end Hispanic Heritage 2020 and kickoff Modern Latina’s Quinceañera festivities with the “Virtual Wine Tasting and Conversation with Amelia Ceja, Founder and President of Ceja Vineyards” event. The theme for this year is “Celebrating our stories, cultura and community.” Amelia truly embodies the spirit of Modern Latina, and I was honored to have her share her inspiring story and of course enjoy some wine!
