Ysabel Duron to Address Health Care Needs of Latino Cancer Patients at a National Level

Founder Ysabel Duron leaves Latinas Contra Cancer at the end of September 2017 to launch the national Latino Cancer Institute. In this new role, she will work to amplify and leverage the voices and needs of agencies around the country working in the Latino cancer space. On September 28, 2017, Latinas Contra Cancer will host a fundraising event to celebrate the milestones of Latinas Contra Cancer and say a fond farewell to Ysabel.

Cheech Marin’s Vision to Create the Nation’s First Chicano Museum

In collaboration the city of Riverside and the Riverside Art Museum, Cheech Marin will be sharing his art collection to create the nation’s first Chicano art center. Supporters for this project need to raise $3 million to transform the future home of the art gallery complete with space for art classes, lectures and programs.
