The countdown is officially here, just one week until the premier of Elena of Avalor. Gather your family to meet Disney’s first Latina princess, Elena in the one-hour, two-episode premier on July 22, 2016 at 7 pm EDT on the Disney Channel.
Fall in love with the bold and courageous princess along her Grand Council composed of her grandparents, older cousin Chancellor Esteban and a new friend Naomi. Elena will have many adventures with her younger sister Isabel, her friends Mateo and Gabe, and a trio of magical flying creatures.
Becoming a leader will be her greatest adventure
Elena of Avalor’s storyline is woven with the traditions, cuisine, customs, folklore, and music of Latin cultures. The beats and rhythm of merengue, salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, and so much more will have the entire family dancing along as they watch the series.
Music is such an important part of the Latin culture and Elena is the first Disney princes to play a guitar. I love that!
Actress Aimee Carrero has the honor of playing the voice of Elena. Other characters in the series will be voiced by Jenna Ortega, Constance Maria, Lou Diamond Phillips, Jaime Camil, Justina Machado, Tyler Posey and Lucas Grabeel to name a few.
