My sister once told me, boots are a necessity not an accessory. She’s right.
Black, brown, tan, gray, short or tall—boots are the shoe of the season. If you walk into any department store, you’ll see, it is boot madness. Sometimes it can be overwhelming, so here is a quick guide to keep you in check with the latest trends while you’re shopping.
Riding boots are a hot item this season. It’s the most practical boot of them all; you’ll find yourself wearing these everywhere. Brown is a nice, neutral color for fall but black is classic and goes with anything. Tip: This relaxed style boot pairs well with leggings or jeans.
Lace-up ankle boots are super adorable and vintage. This Victorian style boot will go with almost anything in your closet. Think about pairing these to compliment a nice pair skinny jeans and a blazer.
Country girls aren’t the only ones buying cowboy boots these days. Western style boots are taking on a new look. You can find them with embroidery or even studs, either way it’s a great way to keep things casual.
Try a ‘heel’ bootie. There are a wide variety of designs to choose from. Whether you want an edgy boot with spikes or opt for a girly one with bows, booties are a closet essential. Not to mention, this is a great versatile boot to wear to the office or out on a romantic date. Note: Solid colored booties will be your best friend if you’re not too adventurous when it comes to shoes.
Every girl should have a pair of rain boots. The best part about them is you can find them in virtually every color! Rain boots are a lifesaver. You wouldn’t want your toes to get wet during the heavy rain season, would you?
Boots come in hundreds of different styles and prices; so, you’re bound to find the perfect fit. Treat yourself. Don’t worry if you happen to splurge, you’ll get great use out of them—trust me. With that said, let the shopping begin. Happy boot hunting!
