I am so excited for the holidays to come. There are so many memories that I have visiting my abuelita’s home such as the sweet smells coming from the kitchen from homemade tamales and posole to the sight of holiday décor throughout the house. And now that I have children, I try to create these special memories with them as well. I look forward to decorating our home to create a welcoming atmosphere for our family and friends.
Candles are one easy element to add the home to make it feel cozy. Now available at the Home and Candle section of Walmart, the new American Home™ by Yankee Candle® products are a wonderful way to transform your room. There are several new fragrances available in the collection from seasonal scents to relaxing to holiday inspired scents. Additionally, there are a variety of types of candles to chose from including sampler votives to 19oz Large 2-Wick Tumbler Candles with prices beginning at $1.43 to $14.93. Some holiday fragrances include Apple Cinnamon Cider, Ginger Pumpkin Pie, Shades of Fall, Pumpkin Apple Harvest, Sugar Coated Cinnamon and Buttercream Frosting.
We may typically concentrate our decorating efforts in the dining and living room for the holidays but don’t forget to decorate one of the most frequently visited rooms in the home, the bathroom. With a few simple updates, I made my bathroom ready for holiday season. First, you can swap out your regular towels with holiday inspired designs. Next, create a holiday display with a centerpiece and candles. I used a shimmery silver tree and a colorful mosaic candle that lights up the room when the candle is burning.
One of my favorite fragrances from American Home™ by Yankee Candle® collection is Sunny Sands. The scent mixes citrus, fruit and floral is fresh, crisp and makes a room feel welcoming and reminds me of a day at beach. Burning a few candles within our home makes our entire house fresh and a little peaceful too.
